Sonic And Tails

Today's introductory post is of Sonic and Tails.

They we the last of the Robos in their cage at our local pet store, and we fell in love immediately and took them home. We kept them in a 20 gallon long tank so we could look at them.

Around day three of having them, Sonic was trying to get out of my hand, jumped trying to get into his home and fell into my axolotl aquarium instead. He started swimming to the end of the tank was swiftly taken out, dried and warmed. He was okay.

Sonic was always more skittish than Tails.

On February 10th, we noticed Tails as looking very skinny, so we started to feed him separately from Sonic in hopes it would help him gain his weight back.

On February 12th, when we were doing our early day check on our hamsters, we found Tails dead under their water bottle.

We had him publicly cremated.

Sonic went through a short period of depression and would bite us often. He currently lives by himself and gets better every day. We are spending extra time with him to make sure he gets the attention he needs.
